The garage-y Farfisa sound is the perfect interpolation into the patented Swans' mastodon-tromp and the chant, "The sex in your soul will damn you to hell" delineates the battlelines in these Moral Majority-haunted times better than anything since Chilton's "No Sex" anthem. The group has grown several new colors on their tonal palette and evince extra subtlety without giving up the erg of raw, rank power. On initial listenings, the accompanying LP, Children of God is even better.
